What's in Disco's Ball(s)?

This week, there are several things on mind. First, is the Bernie Williams situation.
As a Yankee fan, it is painful to see a legend and future HOF'er, lose his skills and role on the team due to age. However, Brian Cashmoney is making the right choice to let him go. Bernie still has some pop left, but his arm and fielding skills have dried up. Teams will run on Bernnie all day and he can't cover ground anymore. Melky is the far better OF backup choice. Also, he can't DH since the Yanks have Giambi DH'ing to upgrade their defense to help out A-Rod's throwing issues and the ground-baller Wang. But, can you imagine Bernie in south beach or in a Ranger uniform? The only 2 options that are good for the Yanks is that Bernie decides to retire or an injury or transaction occurs that opens up roster space for Bernie. Either way, Bernie is #51 in our programs, and #1 in our hearts (and that goes for all you beantowners).

Also, the Devil Rays, er, "Rays", are at it again. Supposedly, after the 2008 season Tampa Bay is dropping "Devil" from its name. Plus, they are getting a new uniform consisting of blue and yellow (probably so Crawford can look like lightning when he runs). However, the owner and G.M. decided not to unviel a team that can win more than 70 games a season.

Office Space is the best movie ever. If you haven't seen it I recomend it and don't be surprised to see me using some of its quotes in my posts.

If the "Hey" song doesn't get you pumped up, you are not human.
